Complete trust is not really feasible. All we can do is look at a politician's record and philosophy and make guesses as to how he or she would handle various problems. The current president of the U.S., for example, was already known to have little regard for human life. He presided over the killing of more people than any other American in the past 40 years. His continued disregard for human rights and disregard for other countries has alienated the United States more than at any time in recent memory. Americans themselves deserve the blame for this. They voted for him. You can't elect a wolf and then ridicule his fur (or a hawk his 'feather').

We all know politicians lie and cheat. That's why laugh at political parties that point fingers at each other. They should be pointing the finger at themselves. If you rich and powerful, you'll become a politician. You'll never see a poor person who is truely honest win. We need to get rid of the 2 party system or at least allow others to get a fighting chance. No one is 100% Democrat or Republican but it seems that we are so limited on what we need. Before we ever elect anyone to represent our parties we need to set aside on popularity and start focusing on what makes them better then their opponent. Plan and simple.

politicians with a few exceptions are full of crap...they are all sold out for something (like money, gold, wood, women...)
they cant be trusted under no circumstances..
they can sit on the toilet for hours, days, weeks, months, years, but yet they will not be able to empty the crap out of them...

but then there are those loyal politicians who really luv citizens..who care about citizens.. the problem is there is no meter yet invented to identify loyal politicians and full-of-crap politicians.. wish Enstein had created such a mechine
