You need to read a little more to get your question correct.
The CIS is the current result of the end of the USSR and the states that remain in the Russian block.
The others who left are either in or trying to get in the EU.

Amy w is right as far as she goes. It is basically any country that used to be part of the former Soviet Union.

You can add to Amy's list Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Armenia and Kirghistan. Also Moldova and Ukraine.

I'm not even sure that between us we have got them all.

i may be wrong but wasnt it: CIS (former USSR / Soviet Union): Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tadjikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan
