I am almost positive that you can only claim income support and house benefits in the area that you are a resident and it is only paid if you live in that area and no where else. So if you live in Italy, you would have to be a resident before you could claim both from them but Britian is not responsible for you.

Its easy, check with the DSS (if you dare) and they will fully advise you and read you your rights & probably exradite you back to the UK and give you free sucure accomodation for 6 months.
