Who is going to be blamed... and will people wake up and realize we really aren't safe? I almost want it to be one... but not really. does that make sense? I don't think it is... but doesn't it make you think?

Nick, im not "worried" about it. I'm asking a question to get people to think... how would it make them feel if it WAS another attack?

Let's wait for the facts first. Remember that the earliest reports always get revised. I am a pilot myself, and I recognize that it is unusual to crash into the center of a building. But, the same result could also come about from a catastrophic airframe failure, or an improperly handled engine failure in a multi-engine plane. Let's not rule out spatial disorientation on the part of the pilot, either. After all, he is reported to have been flying VFR with no radio contact with air traffic control (also not unusual, depending on the type of aircraft).

That's just a long way of saying, "Let's keep listening for more facts." At this point, we shouldn't rule anything out.

I honestly think it is. I mean, come on, how many planes do you think fly through New York City on a daily basis. They don't make airports IN the city where there are high-rise buildings. It's no accident. Do you think there is going to be more like 9-11?

Kind of early to say.

There was a small plane that was deliberately flown into a building in Florida, after Sep 11. I think only a teenage pilot died in that one though.

you really aren't safe anyway, no one is, you are going to die eventually from one thing or another so stop worrying about it, a person crashing a small plane into a building intentionally or not is not something to be overly concerned about

I would say that the Republicans are finished in November, and quite possibly in 08. A terrorist attack by air would not be forgiven by the American voters. You could count on a landslide victory for the democrats in November, and in 08 you could expect Hillery Clinton to be elected as the first woman President of the US.

If it was, then it shows we are winning the war on terror. A small plane taking out 3 apartments? They've really come down in the world haven't they?

Our ports were almost sold to Arabs DURING the Bush administration, and FEMA, which is supposed to handle crisis couldn't even handle Katrina.
