In the wake of Hollywood depictions of the 911 attacks, some critics argue that human tragedy stories should be off limits. out of respect for the victimes and the friends and family members left behind. Some people alos oppose to the idea of infusing fact with fictionalized accounts in oreder to embelish a story.

My Question: Do you agree of disagree with those whoe oppose this trend? Why or Why Not? Please give long explanations and supporting facts....people please write a long answer and support your beliefs with examples, i have to write a story on this for the newspaper.

I believe the truth about it should come out, but rehashing it year after year probably delights the terrorists. They want us to dwell on it. Time to let it go & move on. (AFTER the truth comes out!)

I disagree. Most of the human race need to be able to visualize what it was like when it happened, to be able to have a sense of empathy(as if you were there too). Take for example all of the movies based on the Titanic, all of the war movies, movies about famous people, etc. For example, the Diary of Anne Frank has been done in movies many times, but the latest one really showed what it must have been like to be in a prision camp and die of disease and starvation. I felt so sad and depressed after that movie. It also taught me a lot about how frivolous everyday terms can be, such as:"I'm starving to death, I'm so hungry." It and other movies like it, have made me think, feel, and be cautious about how I protray myself in real life.
