I thought about this for a long time and it is a great song to represent England!

But God save the Queen should be kept as the British National Anthem though.

You couldn't be more right - something with a bit of passion. Perhaps people representing their country may be encouraged to sing. (footballers take note)

England would not have a countrywide anthem, whether, the national Anthem of the united kingdom will replace. Jerusalem and Land of desire and Glory at the instant are not offical anthems. on the start for specific the Queen will in basic terms replace to King and replace gender references. changing the professional national anthem could be extra difficult.

I think they should change the songs once every 10 years perhaps along similar themes to keep things interesting, with the National Anthem unchanged.

Yes. God Save the Queen is dull and boring. Jerusalem has at least got a bit of life in it.

It should just say God Save the Queen.

Why on earth would it be changed to Jersualem?

i still think it should be changed from god save the queen to god save the queen by the sex pistols. awesome awesome band btw.
