I'll probably wear all white or black and carry around an I-Pod and dance around crazy all day, but anyway would I be able to carry a portable stereo that I could somehow hide in the costume that wouldn't hinder my dancing? Any ideas?

Good idea.
It would be fun to make some sort of wheel that you could wear so people could pause, ff, and rewind you. When you get sick of it, flip an orange "hold" on your shoulder.
Bring your own ipod with some portable speakers. You can get battery operated ones. Get a small messenger back put the speakers in there. The sound won't have to be loud. Or--people can pick a song and you can just sing it. :)

You could get a sheet and sew it into a huge pillowcase-looking outfit so you can walk around easier than a cardboard costume. Paint the little Apple screen on your chest, which would put the dial around your waist and umm... You could have a large white cable coming out of the top of your head, like the headphones. It would be super cool if you made the back grey or silver.
Have fun, it sounds like a good idea.

Make your costume out of a huge cardboard box. Make it to look like an I-pod and carry an I-pod with portable speakers taped to the (inside) bottom of the box!

Get on of those big skinny boxes at the post office and like draw or print out buttons for it and glue them on and do that lol that would be funny.
it could be black or white but white will be eaisyer to find
and to make music carry around a real ipod in ur pocket of just have a cd player in your pocket

Here's a fun idea:
Wear all-black and strap a giant, bright green or yellow poster board to your back, and stick your iPod to a belt or something. Make sure to have your earphones in.
I love those little iPod shadow-guys. :)
