I don't know much about hi5, but I have many friends on yahoo. I find being myself, open and honest works/ I do not spend a lot of time talking about myself and am a good listener. I also have a sense of humor, can be important.

acc to me u never find a true friend.
if u share with some one and he/she do the same and reliable then he/she is ur true friend, he/she may me be ur mom/dad/sis/brb/classmate any one, but if u think that u can find some one on this bullshit net then sorry to say buddy if u rely here on someone then I am assuring u that he must cheat u

there are no catogory of people who are called as true friends.first we should be truthful to our friend.dont hide any of ur secrets and try to share ur happiness and sorrow with ur friend.try to share his feelings.dont be possesive in friendship.give him a space in which he can judge things without ur intervention.
