Not very likely because ovulation usually takes place 2 weeks after a period so if you were about to start and had sex then you shouldn't have been fertile.

Most likely you cannot get pregnant the day before you get your period. You usually ovulate about 2 weeks before your period, but everyone is different. However if you want to be pregnant, you should not be taking the pill. If you don't want to get pregnant, then you had better take the pill every day at the same time. The only thing to do at this point is wait it out and take a test. Good luck!

Anytime you have sex, there is a chance of pregnancy. It is possible to get pregnant the day before your period but unlikely because most females ovulate about 14 days after the start of their period. Taking a birth control pill one day will not keep you from getting pregnant. You must take them for a while for them to work. If you think you are pregnant, take a test.
