Mets have too much lumber for the Cardinals shallow pitching staff. After Carpenter the Cardinals better pray for rain. New York will take care of business.
The Tigers pitching staff has picked the best time of the year to get hot. Maybe with the exception of Kenny Rogers the Tigers should make the difference in the world series. Rogers is their weal link.

mets r too good for the cards. the cards came limping into the playoffs and they'll lose to a great team mets have the best bullpen in the mlb and leads 4 the most double plays made for the mlb. they have the 2nd best era in mlb and there hitting it great.carpenter cant hold the team up by itself suppan is ok and marquis was good but now has no chance of getting a wil im going to say the cards have a 25% chance with the mets

the mets offense have gone cold since blowing a 2 run lead in the 7th inning of game 2.....if they lose the next game i dont see them coming back from being down 3-1 to the cards

i hope my cardinals win, but its lookin shaky..the mets have a deeper lineup and a deeper bullpen...i think the mets win the series in a close won, before losing to the tigers in the world series in 5 games
