The two are so different it is difficult to chose. My favorite experiences with sunrises have been walking the beach during vacations. Sunrises are wonderful because you wait and wait and rub your feet in the sand while you wait and then the glow rises slowly on the horizon. Sunsets are beautiful too. In the city, they are usually all sorts of shades from reds to pinks to oranges mixed with purple. Unfortunately, I have been told that much of the colour comes from pollution. I have often though of photographing the sunsets, and remember always the sounds and smells of beach sunrises.
