i have enabled cd rom in bios setup and connected it properly but its not detect by system plz solv it.

Did u save the settings properly. And go to the windows it can not detected after that go to the Device magager check it and enable the drive

Assuming that the CD drive is IDE, check that the jumpers are correctly set to master or slave. If they are conflicting with another device on the same IDE channel then it will not be detected.

check the cd rom settings in device manager. also make sure that the ide pins on cd drive are proper.

make sure that it is on slave if a hard drive is the master which i assume it is.... or if there is another cd drive that is already the master.

If that is fine.... go to your device manager and see if it shows up there.

There is always the possibility of a bad cable.... make sure its plugged in properly.

Try deleting the device thru device manager. Then restart your PC. Windows should pick it up.

cdrom is conected to ur computer.after that we check the connections of the jumper.otherwise we addhardware`utility
