How many pink elephants can fit in a closet? It is ironic that gays play an important role in the GOP, but do it at the price of betraying who they are and the interests of other gays, such as on the issue of gay marriage. At least democrats who are gay such as Barney Frank can be open about it. There is a novel called " What Makes Sammy Run." It is about a Jewish man who rises to the top as a movie studio owner by stepping on everyone around him, including his family. In one scene, his brothers are being attacked by gentiles, and rather than join them in getting attacked he grabs a rock and throws it at them screaming " dirty kikes, and go home Jews." He avoids being identified as being Jewish by the same tactics GOP gays avoid being identified. They attack those who are just like them, only more open about it. Power does corrupt.

Even as a democrat, I want to ask you... if you are going to generalize Foley as a representative of the Republicans, why not generalize Foley for all white people, all men, all people older than 40, all Americans, all humans etc.
This Foley nonsense does not contribute to the main issues at hand. Stick with issues important to our nation and not to a pedophile.
