Kidnapping occurs regularly. Dozens of people get charged with kidnap weekly in all countries. Remember, legally, kidnap only consists of 'taking somebody against their will, even 1 metre. i.e. 'If someone put their arm around you and walked you round the corner and robbed you. The police would charge you with kidnap & robbery. But if your refering to gunpoint kidnapping or kidnap hostage situations. PROOF OF LIFE. The capital for that would be South Africa - dozens weekly. Brazil, Trinidad, Colombia, Russia, Israel & Jamaica. All these countries have daily serious kidnappings.
