A nice handwritten card is always nice. A gift certificate. A nice lunch/dinner. Hope this helps!

A thank you, of course! You could always send them an ecard (there are tons of sites you could do that through). You could send a real card via snail mail, send flowers, candy or a gift. If you feel a larger token of your thanks is needed and aren't sure what to get, you can get them a gift card from somewhere, or take them out to eat at their favorite restaurant. Take care!

It depends on what your budget is and your thank you should be in proportion to what your friend did for you. Anything from a small gift such as flowers, their favorite book, cd, or a certificate for a dinner or massage, or manicure etc.... If you have a limited budget then you can do something nice for them such as babysit, clean for them, cook for them.........

Invite them to lunch/dinner. Buy them a small gift, or a gift certificate to their favorite store. Offer your own help with their errands.
Actions speak louder than words, and sometimes a 'Thank You' card simply isn't enough.

Just being thoughtful in return. Even if you don't have money, something like a card and a flower or cd mix of songs they'll like.

If it's a guy- a gift card to Best Buy or Circuit City.
If it's a girl- and non sexual- a dozen yellow roses (yellow is for friendship btw)
Have a great day!!!

Say thank you and be the best friend you can be to them. Be there for them if they are ever in need.

It depends on how they helped you - a phone call is always nice, a dinner better. The more personal that you make it the better. Express to them how much they've helped you and how much you care and they'll be happy. People like to know they're appreciated.

Buy her a thank you card then go to 7-eleven and buy a bunch of candy and ask them to give you one of those brown bags and take it home, write thank you all over it and in the card let her know you bought her all the sweets for her being so sweet :) its cheap and nice! :) if she/he has a favorite color... go with that! all green/red/blue/ candy :)
