about 8-10 days after first day of last period. every one is different. If you knew how many days were in your cycle then that would help with the guessing. Like 26,28, or what?

Most females ovulate about 14 days after the start of their period (2 weeks). This is not true for all females because some females have irregular cycles and they can ovulate at any time during their cycle. The best thing to do is to have unprotected sex when you are most fertile, which would be a day or two before your expected ovulation date through a few days after.

First of all please do not listen to these other people. I know they are trying to be helpful but they are giving wrong answers. Please if you do not know correct answers to these medical questions don't answer them because that is why so many women are misled on their fertility.

Actually it all depends on your own personal cycle. Assuming you are fairly regular (between 21 and 35 days) ovulation can be anywhere from around the 7th day to the 25th day. The best thing to do would be chart your basal body temperature (simply take your temperature in the morning when you wake up at about the same time daily before you get up or move around too much) to see exactly when you ovulate. Since it seems you are trying to get pregnant quickly I would just say have sex every other day from your 7th to 25th day so it will all be covered. If it has been a few months then I suggest taking your BBT like mentioned above. Good luck!!!

Fertility Predictor

Track the dates you're most likely to conceive.

This ovulation calculator is based on a regular, 28-day menstrual cycle. While this fertility predictor is a helpful tool, bear in mind that it's an approximation that's affected by your cycle length and regularity. If you use a basal body temperature chart, an ovulation prediction kit, and the fertility predictor together, you'll get a better estimate of your time of ovulation.

Here is a calculator. Like if your period is every 28 days, then you ovulate on day 14. For example I ovulate on day 12 because my cycle is every 26 days.

The normal 28 day cycle I believe can ovulate starting at day 11 and end day 20. if you go to babycenter.com and search for the ovulation calculator it will ask you LMP and how many days in your cycle...it works my daughter is proof.
