when i enter a search on google, if for example my search begins with "c" then as i'm typing what i'm looking for all the previous searches are shown- how do i stop this occurence. I don't want to see any of my previous searches and want them deleted

If you are using Internet Explorer do the following:

Tools, Internet Options Content, Autocomplete and then either untick all of the options or the one for web addresses.

Click on the black arrow beside the G in the Google box.At the bottom is 'view history'. Click on this then you will see 'clear history ' at the bottom. That should do the trick!

Thought I'd better check! Just done mine and it works!

Yes you can do as stated above.
However a computer expert could retreive the information, get hold of window washer it will clear the history that not even the FBI would be able to get it back.

Simply highlight that search and press delete. That search will be deleted. Simple solution isnt it.
