Should be able to go to control panel then sound and audio devices then click the sounds tab and there will be a list of things you can assign sounds to.

Go to your ie tool bar- to the yahoo yellow pencil-left click-tool bar options-left click-go to more options-check second box, mail alert. This will alert you whenever you are signed in when you have mail.

In yahoo messenger you can change sounds to buzz, mail, contact on line, leaving, personal alert, atc., by going to messenger- preferences-alerts and sounds-brouse-apply.

You can get to sounds through your media file in yahoo messenger. You can use your own voice, music ect., by recording it with your song recorder. You have to save it to your media files. Check it out. Go to start-All programs-Accessories-Entertainment. Open it up and record your self. You can record music, any sound, save it in media files or wherever is more accessible to you. When you want to set up your tones or sounds, go to where you saved it, apply. Good luck.
