There is quite a good Holiday Inn near between Regents Park and Regents street. I have stayed there a few times.....nice bar, lovely brekkie and superb location.

Try the Ibis just to the west of Euston Station,a five minute walk. Used by a lot of reasonably upmarket tourist groups. They do good weekend breaks for around £60. About a ten minute walk from there to the east side of Regents Park.
