No doubt things were much better under Saddam. Several years I went there and rented a car at the airport and drove to the hotel. Never had any problems. But no nation wants a foreign occupation for long no matter what you give them.

Yes, they had those things in Baghdad. Now they have to share with the rest of the country. It'd help if they'd stop blowing up their own stuff, as well.

They have enough oil to get THEMSELVES what they need. We liberated them, now they can do the rest.
