Liquid stiches viable replacement for spirit gum?

I've heard that spirit gum is really nasty. I've seen people say that medical adhesive will work better. Do people thing that liquid stiches will hold on elf ears for holloween. How long do you figure liquid stiches will last as an adhesive????

Liquid stitches are supposed to permanently hold skin to skin. I think it might be a bad idea to use it for anything temporary--if you plan to, I'd ask a nurse or doctor their opinion.
