minimum of 5w30... but as a mechanic... 10w30 due to the miles and those things did best on that i find

With that mileage, I would recommend 10W-30 SAE high-mileage blend.
As far as brand, this can be pretty subjective, kinda like "My Ford, your Dodge".
Recommend a QUALITY brand, and use the latest classification available, probably "SL". Stay away from any classified "CH" or "CJ" unless they are also classified "SJ" or "SL" on the same label. "S" is indicated for gasoline engines "spark fired" and "C" is indicated for diesel (compression fired).
Valvoline, Castrol, NAPA (Valvoline), Havoline All are good brands, and blend for high mileage.
I DO NOT recommend switching to synthetic for a car with this mileage already accumulated. It won't help all that much, and it can begin to leak where there were no leaks before.

I would go with castrol 10w-30...good oil I use it and have never had a problem

any high milage oil. or synthetic oil.....if u use synthetic oil...use it all the time. other wise u can put in regular high milage oil with oil engine addatives.
