I'm trying to install The Sims Deluxe Edition and the install wizard keeps saying "error getting sku number from registry". What does it mean and how can I fix it?

you probably have not typed in the correct number. hey look get the sims2 it is wayyyy better with better add on packs and you will have bags of fun! aslo you can make awsom stories and upload them to the sims2 website for everyone to see. u will have to register first though. honistly you are best gettin the sims2 because it is so much better. hope u take my advice lol. and in the sims2 your sims give birth and the kid actually ages and so do ur sims! from todlers all the way up to pentioners its so kool! your sims can also have cars too! there is so much more to it!! go ahead, you will get addicted to it in no time lol! see ya! p.s go on the sims 2 website for more info on the sims2. www.thesims2.com xx

If you already installed the reg. Sims you need to uninstall it. The Sims deluxe edition already has the reg. Sims on it. I have every one of the Sim games. They can be a pain in the you know what. Sims2 won't run on my outdated computer and I'm not buying another computer just for the Sims. I went through this already once never again. It will just have to wait! Good luck!
