Meet him at the door in a trench coat and heels - they always love that! Take him out to dinner and a movie to get his mind off stuff, or cook him a candlelight meal. Rent some movies and 'hole up' for the evening, give him a nice back rub and cater to him...they eat that stuff up! Hope you find something you like!

Why are u just sitting at home? go over and give some chocolates or make his fav food and relax. its the only way he will actually feel better the phone isnt enough.

do something not materialistic but hand made, like something in the bedroom, or a meal, or a massage (guys loveee massages)...good luck

give him a hug or go somewhere with him. you could also just try talking to him and see what the matter is, sometimes it just helps if you listen.

build him a cake... no really make him some sweets... like cookies or a small cake that you all can share... you can even get creative and write a message on it like "cheer up" or "i love you" or even his name...
