Yes I had a very bad boss, who lacked "People Skills" - often arriving late, leaving early, taking time off work to sort out family affairs, yet if was to even think about it, we would get shot down.
He would become moody and morose, not talk to you for days, chat up anything with a pulse and female under 3O. With KNEE JERK reactions that would blow you out of the water in a heart beat, when he arrived so did a big black cloud, I watched a lot of good honest workers leave because of the atmosphere he caused, and his reputation proceeded him, and will continue, it seems that to get anywhere these days you need to be a total b******d - This endured for over 4 years resulted in my suffering with stress related depression, not funny at all.

My worse boss was my last job I worked at. He would say our breaks are privaledged and make us stay in for lunch. Mind you, we would work 10 and 12 hours a day. He also tried to have "skirt day". That never happened, due to all the women got together and dared him to try. My best job is the one I am at now. They come in every morning with a smile on their face and are truely nice people. The president makes sure he speaks to everyone and never makes anyone feel unimportant. This is the absolute best job I have ever had and wish that everyone could have a job like this. Thank you.

The best boss I had is from the first job I had. It was a restaurant and we used get drunk together all the time after we closed. I am still in touch with him.
The worst one I had is form the last place I worked. He just sits around, checking his own personal e-mail and stuff while clocked in. He used to go home early telling someone to clock him out after 3 hours or so. And he does his own pay role. While it's so busy and everyone's running around, he sends someone out to get him food form out side instead of getting up and do it himself. I live in London, and I had to go to work in the afternoon, on 7th of July, when London was under terror attack, because he didn't want to give me a day off.

best boss i ever had was my dad coz i got away with anything like turning up late and taking longer breaks ect and i got promoted twice.

my worst boss was vicky the trainee manager at lava ignite nightclub she gave everyone and their friends vip admission to the club on their nights off apart from me and she just rota'd me off for no reason after 3 months hard work when i asked why she said you have another part-time job now.

she also went round pulling all the younger guys who worked at the club and they felt like they had to do stuff coz she was the boss.

i walked halfway thru my last saturday night as it was a really hot night and i was the only glass collecter in one side of the club. i couldnt get from bar to the other and she wouldnt get someone off membership to help me restock the bar ect.

when i went to get my final payslip she shouted at me infront of her boss like i was a 5 year old blaming me for customers leaving the over packed nightclub to go to the club round the corner.

then she got upset when i refused to argue back.
power totally went to her head

None of them are good or worst. They're just human beings and we decide if we can deal with them or not. There is always room, we can make choices every second.
