Well, first if the phone supports what ever the service provider's network is. If the phone has been set for a particular service provider; than it will most likely need to be unlocked. Which can be done by sending to a cell phone repair depot and have them unlock it by basically hacking it. Also with the new phone coming out it also depends if the phone has a sim card set for a particular service provider. Probly the most flexible network that allows you to use multiple phones would be a CDMA network. Only that phone supports a CDMA network.
