there is no "wrong" environment. You explore yourself in the reactions you have everyday. It doesn't take a quiet forest or high mountain to discover what we are made of. It is in the everyday reactions and challenges we deal with that teach us the most about ourselves.

do what Henry thoreau did and go live in the forest near a river and start exploring urself and write a novel about it

the proper environment is always there (within you) the focus is often not there. quiet your mind and then try to focus
