When will a doc normally stripe your membranes. I am asking because i am 36 weeks pregnant and due Nov 7. Due to having gestional diabetes, i will be getting induced either the last week of oct or the first week of nov. It will defintely be before nov 7. I am just curious. Please only answer if you had to have your membranes stripped or have had gestional diabetes.

My Membranes were stripped weeks 38, 39, and 40. It did nothing for me. I was 10 days over due and was enduced. My sister was stripped week 39 and went 5 hours later. Every woman is different. Goodluck!!

I had my membranes stripped, I think I was about 37 38 weeks along, it did nothing but scare the crap out of me. I carried to full term and was actually 2 days late.
