If you went bowling before you can do it now. As long as you don't over do it, any exercise you did before is ok now.

My friend bowled up until she was 8 months pregnant. If you are used to bowling then it should be fine now as long as you dont over do yourself. My doctor always told me that the most dangerous thing a pregnant woman will do is be in a car and thats just because car accidents happen all the time. How many pregnant woman do you know avoid cars during their pregnancy.

See my point? You should be fine. Ask your doctor if you are really concerned.

Good luck and congrats!

I've known several women that can bowl just about right up until they give birth. And there's also a woman that belongs to my gym who works out about up till the time then she gives birth and is back at the gym within a month (she's currently pregnant with her fourth). But regardless, always check with your doctor when you are unsure.

You can pretty much do everything you did before the pregnancy. Just use common sense. (Don't go moving furniture to your friend's 3rd floor apartment, etc)

I was riding a ten speed bike 3 days before my son was born. (back in 1980!!) Just remember that this isn't a time to (a) begin dieting to lose weight, (b) begin a strenuous exercise program-although walking is terrific exercise no matter what your current fitness level is.

Best wishes to you and your growing family.

If you feel up to it, yes. You can do most anything that you did before you got pregnant. That comment about lifting a ball or your arms over your head too far and the umbilical cord is too funny and absolutely not true!!!

I would be careful if you do. I was about 13 or 14 weeks when I went and the next couple of days had spotting. I went to my doctor and everything was ok, but if I were you I don't know if I would again. It puts alot of strain on your lower stomach.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and I am still bowling. There is no reason you can't as long as you don't overdue it. If your body tells you to stop then stop. Just make sure you stay hydrated.

My doctor said no because of the way you twist at the hips. Your hips are already loose to prepare to delivery and it could be harmful. But, ask your doctor because they each have their own theories.

At 6 weeks, I would say yes, but if you're worried, check with your doctor, obstetrician or midwife!
