what is it? i keep hearing people saying there smoking it at school and im scared. is it a deadly animal, a pair of panties? WHAT!?!

It's an herb/weed. Originally grown for it's strong fibers in the stalks, known as Hemp. These fibers were prized in ropes and even the making of cloth as they soften as they age, but remain strong thus created in very long lasting fiber.
The leaves, however, product a drug known as THC which is a mild halucenogen. It produces a relaxing mental state.
It is not phyiscally addictive, but it is/can be emotionally addictive.
The leaves and flower buds are picked and dryed then rolled into tobacco papers for a "joint." Or crushed into a small pipe/bowl and smoked.

Oh - you're kidding - !!!! If you don't know what it is then perhaps it could be a deadly animal that could remove your panties. If you don't know what it is, and you're in school, then I would suggest that you stay away from it until you're at least out of High School. It's not something to be afraid of, but wait.

Long story short, its a natural drug. However through crossbreeding, selection it has gone from something that was relatively harmless, to something that is dangerous.
Simply put, stay away from it, not only is it illegal, but doing drugs is retarded, and let me tell you, ANY drugs, even the legal kind lead you down a bad road. If anyone tries to offer it to you, or try to get you to do it, dont give in, just say no thanks, and ride out your time with them that day, or party you are at or whatever. Then next time, dont hang out with them. Trust me, I've been there, done that....

Marijuana is not dangerous! It is a naturally occurring herb. The active ingredient THC induces a temporary state of relaxation, relieves nausea, and can even increase appetite for people suffering a variety of ailments. Mary Jane doesn't kill brain cells, and isn't addictive. If the government would legalize it, that could be one way to alleviate our national debt....
