if you do what other fish could you put with it in a community tank?

Green spotted puffers aren't suited for community tanks. They nip fins and can literally tear apart a smaller fish with their beaks. Also they need to be kept in brackish conditions, not freshwater, for long term success.

As a previous poster mentioned, they are a brackish water fish. Puffers also are very aggressive for their size and will chase around all the fish in your tank, regardless of how much bigger they are.

green puffers are brackish water fish and definitely not a community fish. I would suggest a mono or an archer fish in a brackish water aquarium.

puffer fis love to nip fins and are very terriorial. I have two dwaf puffer fish and they seem to get along fine with my molly and swordtail. but all puffers need a place to hide. and I know for a fact, betta dont like puffers
