it's called fin rott go to your local pet store and buy melafix also do frequent small water changes after you do at least a 50% change the best treatment for anything in a aquarium is prestine water

your fish has what they call fin and tail rot and you can go to any pet store and pick up medication for it . after you give it you will start to tell a difference. good luck

It has fin Rot. Go to your local pet store and ask them about options. It depends on whether or not you want to chemical treat or not. I personally don't ever use chemicals.

by what you have explained it sound like fin rot your local fish/pet shop will have solutions to bathe the fish in,try to isolate the fish if you can as it can spread i hope this has helped good luck

I use Melafix...comes in a small blue glass bottle. Works for just about all fin ailments. You could take it in to your local fish store..they always have recommendations.

yea use what they said, but PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO, read the back, we did that with our fish and with in 2 days all 5 were dead, (all of ours were sick)...
