As an auditor I got wrote up for some bad parts I did not catch due to a machine operator's mistake. In the mean time another auditor with more experience did the same thing and did not recieve a write up.

Now what do you think, regardless of your color etc. if one gets punished EVERYBODY involved should be punished that were involved. COMMON SENSE AND CIVIL RIGHT.

You'd be hard-pressed to prove it, and filing a discrimination complaint over one write-up if you don't know the circumstances surrounding the other guy's mistake is going to make you look like a whiny-@$$. It would be very different if this happened over and over again because you could show a pattern, but this is a one-time deal and I'm guessing you don't know all the details about what happened with the other guy. Don't automatically leap to the conclusion that it's racial discrimination. If you can find hard evidence of that, then by all means file a complaint. If not, I can guarantee you it'll be a waste of time.

There's way to much that could be going on to accurately answer that here.

Could be the other auditor did get caught.
Could be you've done so several times and finally needed a warning
Could be the other incident was different but w/in tollerance.
Are you a minority? Are they a minority?

sounds like typical work b.s. to me. Don't dwell on it or let it bother you. The only real thing you could do is try and take the company to court and then you have to prove that they maliciously did this, and that can be very hard to prove especially if you did make a mistake and that is what you were wrote up for.

not necessarily..there are lots of factors...have you made mistakes before.?. There could be many performance based issues that led up to the write up...The other coworker may have a better performance rating that gives him a little more room for error...you could always ask your boss..but they should not be able to comment on your co worker just on the reason behind your write up.

second ....... as careful as auditing is of matter ... human relationships is not fully mastered.
third ...... one must be favoured if full realization by auditions may be not responsible to for other to be responsible for.
fourth ....... write up the entire incident according to your awareness and say then you are responsible.......then whom shall accept in response .
fifth ....... pray all enjoy responsibility as well .

From your example, it cannot be distinguished whether this is discrimination or favoratism or merely an oversight. More data would be needed.
