Question

In the span of life man has to move upwards and onwards.He may have a turning point,changing him from the worst condition of life to best.Would you pls tell me if you had a turning point as such.Explain more?I believe these people are special God given gifts created to help others.I ask heartedly from yahoo masters let everybody think about his own life,and expressing his own beliefs to help others by giving more time as an open question.

I was heavily involved in gangs as a teen thought it was so cool to be scum and I was sent to an alternative school in high school because i was kicked out of traditional school for fighting and there was a lady there named Nora she was a counselor that worked with troubled youth and she talked to me alot and listened to what i said and didn't judge me and after we had formed a relationship i started feeling guilty for the things i did .. i could here her advice in my mind .. she used to tell me that i was a beautiful girl and i shouldn't let these guys use me and how much the streets can take a toll on my life and make me bitter and full of regret .. and she changed me i now work for social services with troubled youth that are in the foster care system .. it took her and i think the love of my family to pick myself up and see that i was worth more than that and i always wanted to be able to help someone else feel the same way.

the turning point for me arrived when i woke one morning from a night of heavy drinking nor knowing where i was or who i was with. luckily it was a very good friend of mine who found asleep on the step outside.if she had'nt come along i dread to think what could have happened.i got the biggest fright ever and have never ever allowed myself to get like that again.my life is so much better now and i believe its because of that.
