Scrape off as much as you can with a butter knife then put a few layers of paper towel or something absorbent under and over the hoodie. Iron (low heat so paper towel does not catch on fire) the towel over the wax until it's absorbed out of hoodie.

freeze the wax - put the whole thing in the freezer if you can - then scrape off as much as you can with the back of a knofe. then take some plain white paper towels, put a couple at a time over the wax, and use your iron to heat the wax - the paper towels will wick the wax up and out of the cloth. Keep moving the towels so you're always working with a clean surface. I've used this methold many times, with really good results.

You take an old tshirt, put it on top of the ruined area and put an iron over the top of that. The candle wax melts into the old tshirt. That can also be used on carpeting and other fabrics. Hope that helps!

Freeze the wax, then scrape it off. It may leave an oily stain on your shirt, but you can remove the "oily stain" with a little "Era" laundry detergent, and a toothbrush, then wash as usual. Good luck!

This really nasty stuff called Oops.
You can find it at your local hardware store.
It stinks, worse than gasoline..but it will work.
Another (less potent option) involves ironing and ice, but I really can't remember the proper method for that, sorry.

Wal-mart sells something for this, it is in the candle isle. Near the lighters. (At least at my Wal-mart.)
