70% of the deaths are Iraqi vs. Iraqi. At least 3 attempts have been made on the life of the Iraqi president and 3 of the prime minister's siblings have been assassinated. Although the majority of the Iraqis surveyed say it's ok to kill US troops, they also say that when the US leaves, there will be fewer sectarian killings. So what do you think will happen 6 months or a year after the US pulls its troops out of the country?

Anarchy and Chaos. Try reading some of the blogs from Iraqis on the ground. They talk about less power and water supplies than under Saddam. They talk about religous zealots controlling entire communities and imposing Islamic Law.

Its a huge mess, its time to admit that there ISNT a good outcome for Iraq and its time to get our guys the hell out of there.

We will see three new nations emerge, an independent Kurdistan (which will then be invaded by Turkey), and the Shias and Shi'ites will split and form their own nations.

Iran will be the winner as they will have far more influence in the region at the end of it all.

It will fall into brief chaos, perhaps a short civil war, another brutal dictator will rise and it will all be like it was before we invaded.

You have three very different groups of people living in the same country. They will not get along. You either have to split that country three ways, or there needs to be another dictator to keep them all in line and thats just the way it is.
I know people in America cant fathom this, but sometimes our way of doing things is not always right.

Well we shouldn't have went in there in the first place... I think it's time... enough American deaths.... We need our troops back here to defend us not directing traffic in Iraq.

I am not sure, but I don't feel anything good will happen. I do feel that there will be an American presence there for many years to come.
