I have indeed and i remember it as if it were my first day in Hell.

I was spending the night at a woman's house when i saw my first one. We were laying in bed together she was asleep and i had woken up because the room was kind of warm so i just lowered the bedsheets down to my waist turned my head and watched her sleeping because hey i thought she was beautiful. I turned to look at the clock and felt as if i were being watched. I assumed it was the woman i was sleeping with but as i rose up a bit to look at her and see if she wanted to make love again i saw a woman probably in her early to mid twenties staring at me.

She looked as if she were about to cry her eyes just had this deep sadness , later on i realized that if someone tells you they saw a ghost face to face and you ask them what feature stood out the most and if they don't say the eyes they maybe lying, they almost pulled you in and made you feel like you had lost everything. There was no maliciousness in them just an overwhelming sense of loss. I did notice she had red hair kind of long and a green blouse like something out of the late 60's maybe. She vanished not like a cloud of smoke or anything she just vanished. In the morning we woke up and showered together then got dressed and she took me out to eat and making conversation about politics and such i looked her in the eyes and told her flat out "Your house is haunted." she looked at me and just sat there before saying "I know and you're the only person i've ever had visit and just mention that without me having said anything about it." She then asked me how i could tell and told her what i saw. We went out a couple of times after that but she while drinking one night said i was just using her as the "older woman sex experience". It hurt me and she saw it. She saw i really cared for her and told me she was sorry and then left and i never saw her again. I later found out from a mutual friend that she told him she had wanted to sleep with me even though i was 20 years younger than her for sometime as if there was a compulsion not so much sexual as a different kind of need for her to take me home.

Since then i have been able if i concentrate hard enough to tell what people are feeling by just a glance i could tell with clarity what their perception of me was in particular. I used it mainly to look at a girl and know just from brief eye contact whether she thought i was hot or not. I abused it once by making eye contact with a girl and luring her to the dance floor then to her apartment later that night causing her to cheat on her fiance.

After awhile i got into an exclusive relationship and i just didn't do it anymore and gradually it got to a point where i couldn't read people at all. I had a child in that relationship a daughter and then for the first time in years i started seeing strange things again like shadows with no source i saw a crucifix fastened to a crib one moment leave the room and the next it was on the floor. I would go to my daughters room and see her sleeping in the crib then hear something shatter, go back in and see a lamp on one table shattered on the opposite wall. By the time my daughter was five all that stopped and i and the woman i was steady with had married and we had a son. One day while she was driving our daughter somewhere our daughter asked her "Who are those people in the trees?".

She asked it as they had passed a cemetary in the country.

I haven't seen any ghosts since my daughter was born and my son hasn't seemed to have experienced any unique skills in that area. I divorced my first wife and am now remarried. My wife says sometimes i talk to people in my sleep one in particular is a name that my wife says sounds like "Sheila" and i don't know anyone by that name.

I've never thought of myself as psychic by any means as i understand it psychics see ghosts on command almost but i used to be able to sense emotions i guess i'm empathic or i was.

It is rather synchronistic that your question is posted at the same time that I am reading a book about Angels. It is interesting because the author distinguishes that the difference between Angels and ghosts is that the former are sent by the divine spirit to aid us, guide us, and protect us, whereas ghosts are usually souls that have not gone peaceful to the other side and therefore often scare us because they are not at peace. The author of this interesting book also points out that Angels do not always appear in spirit (bright lights, wings, etc.) but in human form as people that come into our lives sometimes for only a brief moment to assist us and are as quickly gone without us even knowing who they were. These kinds of experiences I am sure many of us have had. Extending this analogy to ghosts, I am sure that we have all had experiences with humans who have presented such an unsettled soul that they have frightened us or made us feel anxious about being around them even for a moment. These could be human ghosts...

(I don't know if you posed the question just as an inquiry or whether this topic interests you, but if you'd like to know the title and author of the book I mention, let me know. It is really interesting. Last night I read about spirits that appeared to soldiers during world war one...I did not know of these reports before...)

No, I don't believe in ghosts.

The human mind is a very futile ground for seeing and feeling things that are not there. Most valid scientific research into the paranormal has yet to find support to the phenomena.

That is not to say I don't occasionally get spooked. Or, wish that I could talk/communicate with the dead (someone close to me died two years ago).
