There's only need for ego where there's no actual accomplishment. Generally, people who are full of themselves are that way because they are so void of anything else. It's hot air.

I think that I see your point. It comes from the low standards that we set. We become so puffed up over small accomplishments. Too many braggarts thes days who have nothing to show for themselves.
