I know theres a Silent Hill 5 in the making, but have u heard if there will be silent hill part 1 remake for ps2 or ps3? My favorite is silent hill 2. That story is fantastic. I totally got into the plot. Just like a soap opera. Too bad the silent hill movie wasnt about silent hill 2 instead!

God, I love that movie! It was soooo creepy! If you noticed, some monsters are from Silent Hill 2! The music was from Silent Hill 3....wow, they're making a fifth one...I wonder what those crazy Japanese have in store for us THIS time..The game I liked the most is Silent Hill 2, as well. The reason is that it gives you a real eerie feeling, and the people you meet are creepy, you don't know if you should trust them, or kill them.Maria really scares me because she acts so crazy that you would think that she is up to something evil, of course, the endings were sad, and made me cry a bit...yes, I cried! If they were to make a Silent Hill 2 movie, I think they might be able to pull it off because all they need to do is add James Sunderland, Eddie, and Maria and thats it!

i ahve heard some thing about a remake of part 1 2 and 3 to be remastered for ps3 but it may only be released in Japan.

I found myself thinking about life and fear and everything after watching that film. It wasn't made great, it was a bit corn ball actually but you really can't deny the underlying themes and religious connotations and under currents. It, for that reason alone was very thought provoking and I think if it wasn't as horrible as it was, the impact wouldn't have been as great.
It watched like reading Dante's inferno. With just as much to chew on as the Bridge at Malebolge. I have not yet played the video games yet.
Do they make you think as well? Have as great an impact or was it mindless?

i just watched the movie i had no idea how many movie's or game's their was! wow i thought the remake was good,i need to see the orginal and the other's : ]

I freakin' hated the movie. I'm from West Virginia, and the state troopers don't wear uniforms like that, there is no Toluca county, and there is no Silent hill. Least they could have done is put it in real places with costumes that matched reality.
