I sing it with pride, but I cant stand the liberal ******* that do nothing but complain about the country they should be grateful for every second to live in. They wouldn't sing it with pride, in fact they'd be complaining about its political incorrectness, what morons. I know I know, you're so intellectually sound and Im just some dumb hick. Actually no Im from the Northeast and Im conservative.

O say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and white stars through the perilous night
O'er ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there
O say does that star spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave

Yes I do know the words and I usually sing it with pride. Sometimes I get exasperated if we're just singing it to show how patriotic we are. And other times I'm ashamed of the things we as a country have done, but I usually take pride in singing the national anthem.

No cut and paste. While I may not be happy with our government I am still proud to be an American because I believe in what this country originally stood for.

Yes on both counts. I always belt it out loud and clear but, unfortunately, I can't carry a tune with a handle on it!

there is too lots hyper-patriotism because it is. this is as risky as anti-patriotism. i like my u . s . a . and help it yet that doesn't mean I ought to be indoctrinated. while good individuals are stated as out for not putting a flag of their backyard or donning a lapel flag pin and accused of not helping u.s., this is ridiculous and unsafe.

I know three verses.

Right now I don't like being American, and I don't sing it at all.

Our "freedom" is a fraud. Our policies are flawed, and costing us our lives...
