I think you look dumb posting this question, but thats just a matter of personal opinion much like your question.
What I find most amazing about this whole thing, is how willing you are to over look the fact that the man abused his power and position. Ok the kid was 18 thats great, really it is, and if he was 18 and it was all on the up and up, why did he resign? Why did he cry alcoholism and molestation for excuses and run to rehab?
Why are you so quick to say oh hes 18, it doesnt matter, stop talking about it? Are you really stupid and naive enough to believe it was only one page he did this with? The man is a pervert who abused his position to masturbate via his computer and pick up young men, I highly doubt there was only one.Who knows what the age of the others are.

As for Foley, he's a pervert, there is no defense for that.
Hastnert should go if he covered it up (and it looks likely he did).
If this impacts the Republicans next month, thats becuase it SHOULD.
We need to be back to the days of a Democrat in the White House and a Republican Congress. Thats when Republicans actually CARE about sound fiscal policies becuase they sure as hell dont care about them today.

The Democrats aren't the ones bringing it up. It's the Media. Mostly, the Republican based FOX Network. And if it's not a big deal, then why are the Republican's lying about it?
