i got this answer for my question to chrstian 5
___
According to my understanding, God gave mankind "free will", the ability to make choices in any circumstance. God does "know everything" this is called omniscient. He knows all the permutations of all the choices that all of humanity may make, but he does not know which choices that mankind will actually make. This means that God has prepared a plan with every contingency for all of the choices to eventually get mankind to the place where he intends for it to be. God was not pleased with the choices mankind had made and so he decided to destroy all but Noah and his family and let mankind start over. This is slightly different from saying that God made a mistake.
________
so is it about he know ery possibility
or he know what i'll choose whith my free will
cuz i am sure he know what i'll exactilly choose
not just know evry possible choice to me
__________
what do u think

God knows what choices are given to you to make and he knows which one you will make... that much is true, however I believe that God cannot make you make the choice that he wants you to make or else he calls himself a liar about giving free will. After you make a decision he begins to weave a way for you to get out of it if it is the wrong decision or makes a way for you to continue if it is the right one. it is then up to us to LISTEN for His Holy Spirit(teacher) to which direction we are to go. i know the Holy Spirit brings up several other questions in many minds... But that is a whole other topic. But the more we learn to listen the less likely we are to make the wrong ones. As far as possibiliteis.. God KNOWS them.. he created the world and how it worked... Why wouldn't he know.. and if you recall (or not) God did threaten to destroy hispeople and got angry with them. But his promise that Moses reminded him of stayed his anger... he already began stting up a way to redeem his children. Jesus Christ. His son...

I don't see this as a clear question, but here's some Biblical info.
In the Book of Job, Satan (Lucifer) requests audience with God, and it is granted to him. He makes a challenge to God that he can turn all of the faithful against him. God agrees. Here is where free will comes in to play: To remain faithful to God, or to succumb to the Devils temptations. Mankind's' individuals have the choice to go either way. Being imperfect (extremely), we are easily tempted, so it is very difficult to resist temptation for most. Even the most devout Christians fall short of the mark, which is the definition of sin. That's why they need to be forgiven. I still don't really get the question...is WHAT all about possibilities? in any event, I was hoping that a bit more background might help.

God knows everything. All possibilities, all choices & even which ones we'll make. But He doesn't intervene. He may give us little signs of what He'd like us to do, or what would be best for us, if we pay attention to them, but freewill means He lets us do whatever we like, whether it's good or not. Otherwise we'd just be puppets. He's omniscient, omnipotent, all-seeing, all-knowing. Nothing we do surprises Him, though I'm sure much of it disappoints Him...I've had a few signs in my life & I know I took the right path. But I still made the choices freely. I might as easily have gone the other way...

With everything else in the universe that exists outside of man and earth, there are few things that humanity on this planet can do that will positively effect the occurances that go on outside of earth. The things that we can do to benefit that which is outside of the earth is that which god knows. So as humanity, we can search for what those things are, or we can do something else (free will). Its a choice of being selfish as a planet or not. We don't have to follow the will of God, but we can, and if we faithfully do, will be hopefully be rewarded in some way.

I am agnostic. If God knows all possibilities then God knows the mind of man because what man does changes the possibilities. When a supposed choice is made, new conditions are brought into being. Since man is made of atoms and his very life depends on atomic interactions, the very fact that those atoms are available is the result of primordial actions. Man makes no "freewill " choices his brain chemistry has him committed to only one choice which he will make because he cannot make any other.

What I think is based on what I have learned. What I know is based on what I have come to know from both experience and from what I have been taught (and learned?), but I respond to this particular question by telling you that God is the Parent of All Mankind and He is Deeply Saddened that His children find more value in conflict and fighting. He is not the one who set up all the religions...

How about: every possibility exists, but man's "free will" forces him to converge upon the one that actualizes.
