i would say that it depends on the distance.my husband and i lived 300 miles apart when we were dating and it worked out well but it takes alot of trust on both parts.we are now married and live together.my brother however was dating a girl from texas USA and he was here in england, they lasted for 2 years but the distance got the better of both of them, they both cheated on each other and eventually broke up after alot of travelling to and from the uk and the states.

Yes, I believe in long distance relationships. Why? Coz I'm currently in a long distance relationship myself (since almost 2 years) and so far it works pretty well.

well long distance relationships aren't the best but they can work if you love the person... I m in one and I only get to see him a few times a month we don't live that far from each other but its still a drive we can t see each other when we would like to .. and we are getting married and then all this will be over .. so they work you just have to trust that person allot more then you would if you lived beside them .. well good luck

I was in one for more than a year. It was difficult, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. However, it got to the point where seeing each other every six weeks wasn't enough, but there wasn't anything we could do about it. Neither one of us was willing to uproot, give up our careers and move.

I think as long as there is a mutual trust and respect, it can work.

i did it for over an year. we would fly to see eachother every month and a half or so but i am really glad i did it because we spent so much time on the phone and through phone conversation we were able to talk and answer things that might be hard to do if we were face to face because of shyness and what not. now we are toghether and we are married and best friends.

i do. i had a long distance relationship. to me everything is more intense. your happy to see that person, the love making is more passionate, you have more to talk about, and if your really serious, somewhere done the line, someone will make the decision to relocate.

Oh yes. Definitely. My wife left me, moved 450 miles away from me and now my life is pure heaven. Just wish the UK was bigger so she could be further away.

They can work sometimes if you keep in contact, my friend married someone from america and she is happy. She met him on the net. I met someone up the road and it was a disaster. all the best.
