it is completely normal to have significant changes to you menstral cycle after childbirth...mine changed drastically after each child...some changes were good some were bad. all the reproductive organs have changed position and your horomones are different especially if you jusr recently had the baby. all you can do is out a hot pad on your belly, get some tylenol and do relaxing activities like go on walks with baby. excercise will help the cramps.

Yes it is, for up to a year your PMS can be worse, periods can be eratic and heavier or lighter than your prebaby ones. Load up on some Mydol and rocky road! You could talk to your Doctor if you want more information. I know it was horrible for me, and my daughter is 12 months old, I skipped months and cramped so bad I cried and headaches like no other. And then I got pregnant again lol! It will be fine, but good luck!

You probably have post-partum depression. Your hormones are all out of place... go see your doctor and they can put you on an anti-depressiant. It doesn't even have to be for a long time, probably just for a couple of months until you get adjusted to your new life style.
But to me it seems normal to feel the way you described.. after all you just had a baby! And yes it is a very happy thing but it can also cause a lot of stress as well.. good luck.

Yes, your hormones and everything are still trying to get back to normal and that takes a long time. Your entire body grew another entire body, it takes extended periods of time to recover from that. Don't stress, it takes some women a year to a year and a half to get back to their pre-baby cycles. Good luck and congrats on the little one!

You may not be ovulating because of cysts on your ovaries and the cramping may be coming from them. I had cyst on my ovaries but I never felt them or had the cramping. I saw my ob/gyn when I couldn't get pregnant and he told me not to worry to keep trying. I went and got a second opinion and the doctor did a sonogram and sure enough I had cysts on both my ovaries and fibroids on my uterus. I was scheduled to have surgery to remove the cysts and the day of the surgery I found out I was pregnant with my 1st child. When trying for our 2nd I got pregnant right away, now I have a 4 yr old son and 1 yr old daughter. Get checked by a doctor.

I DONT KNOW WHY EVERY ONE HAS SAID NO . YES YOU CAN . I have had this problem ... Its your hormones regulating themselves.... Yes ... YES YES >>> and the older you are 40 ... it can be worse. .. My doctor said it was my body going back to normal... Now if your baby is 2 or 3 see your doctor if he is 5 months or under a year I would say its your body getting back to normal ... It goes away.... your faimly is unhappy .. but it gets less and less each time ... but call the nurse practioner and ask at your obgyn. ( just in case its a problem disguising its self as PMS )

shut up tom cruise!!
that being said, YES!! i had the same thing each and everytime i was pregnant. with myself, they did eventually go back to normal after a few cycles. so breathe, it shouldn't stay that way. mention it to your doctor, they may have something to help. it is my personal belief that BC helps you regulate back to normal faster. but i'm not a doctor.
