Sandwich and chips (in Yorkshire a fishcake is a sandwich) with scraps, pickled onions and vinegar, the vinegar has to be from the pickle jar, salt and a tiny bit of pepper, two slices of uncut bread with butter and a nice mug of hot tea, bliss.
