If the crack is new and can be covered by a dollar bill then it can be repaired. It wouldn't be worth turning into your insurance.

A good glass person can stop a crack from spreading further, but a crack, unlike a bulls eye, usually can't be fixed. If you have included coverage on your insurance policy, yes, they will cover it, less your deductible if any.

Don't waste your time or money with "crack repair"! If you have collision/comprehensive coverage on your insurance you just have it fixed and the insurance company picks up tab. Usually no deductibles apply to comprehensive coverage.

you can use a sealer to repair the crack, but if it too bad, your insurance company would charge you the deductible, so you would be better off paying for a new winshield yourself

insurance caqn cover it if it was from another vehicle such as a semi threw up a rock or something...


windows are actually very inexpensive..ranging from 50-100 bucks
