There is a growing number of black republicans......I claim to be republican because it is closer to what I truly believe. This is because the democratic party has done nothing that has truly helped blacks or America. They make promises before the election and do nothing till the next election.
1. The war on poverty has only destroyed the nuclear black family....yet we still have much poverty.
2. The war on drugs is a joke.
3. Affirmative action is a joke.
The ranking democrat in the senate is a member of the KKK.
Last year in November they said they would unveil a plan to make things better in and for America......no such plan has been presented.
Howard Dean is a blithering idiot....and there is nothing the democrats have proposed that I feel will make things better.....
And guess what....the Republicans aren't much better
That is the major problem in America....that we have such piss poor choices in elected officials that quite often I end up voting for the person I feel can do the least damage.
We need real leadership from truly committed, intelligent people and those are not the ones that run for office.

I've got a couple friends who are black republicans but they're loaded and not like us mere mortals. I secretly hate them. Just kidding. I don't know, maybe that has something to do with it. Republicans tend to favor rich folk. Honestly, I don't know too many middle class republicans. But, then again, I don't tend to hang around people who care about politics one way or the other, only that It's all fuked.

Rock and roll!

Prost!

People will go with what caters to their needs, wants, and ideals the most. The same goes for Republicans.
