This isn't a question of whether Republicans or Democrats are more likely to have corruption in their ranks: it's just what power does to those in power. And with all three branches under the control of one party, scandals are merely a matter of time before they pile up no matter which party it is holding the reins. So don't get too self-righteous about how terrible the Republicans are (I'm saying this as an admitted liberal-leaner.) The next time a scandal rocks Congress, it might be the Dems with egg on their face.

There also are plenty of non-corrupt elected officials in both parties, but I doubt you'll hear much about how ethical they are. It's a shame they all get painted with the same brush when the scumbags in their midst do their dirty deeds.

Don't just attack the Repubs, i think you should look at your party when it comes to corruption too. I mean majority of you want Hilary. Hilary is just like Bush, acting like she's for the Grass Roots, but will do nothing because she has promises to fill for Wal-Mart. You ppl need to start looking at who is representing you.

By mobilizing the Religious Right. I doubt they can continue to support it. That day is past. At least for the time being.

We keep our support packaged in neat little bundles in our freezers, hypocrite.

Wake up and smell the coffee--noone stays in politics for ethics and principles--they're all as crooked as a dog's hind leg.
