It might be a pimple.

Little bumps or pimples? It might be a simple hygiene problem. If you are a girl, some pads used during your period may cause abrasions and you get a small cut. Wash your private parts everytime you change a pad, or tampon, preferably with anitbacterial soap and warm water. If it is a painful pimple, use slightly hotter water to bring out the pus.
You can also change the brand of your pads to something a little less rough, even if it is more expensive.
he other answers you received explained another reason for a bump, and they are alluding to a Bartholins cyst. Those are very painful inflammation of the glands that lubricate your private area .

Its just an irritated folicle probably, many people get them. It comes from your clothes rubing up against the area or from the oil your skin naturally makes being clogged. Just like your face the rest of your body can get pimples and bumps. Just know that just because you are a virgin, oral sex also transmits dieseases as well as any type of sexual contact, such as rubbing which is why even if you don't have "traditional" sex you still need to take all the procautions and protections.

ummmmm. this really depends where it is. If it low, and its like a bump that seems to be full of fluid but you can't really burst it, it is very likely to be a gland. there are glands down there in that are. for some women they swell at random (well i'm sure that is trigered by something). I had a similar problem (w/o the virginity part) I made the dr. test me for absolutely anything even though i was having monogamous protected sex. I certainly wasted my $$$$ at student health when i went home and my real doctor took one look and told me what was going on. she even drew a nasty but explainatory picture.

I do recommend seeing a dr. If nothing else, it will remove all doubt and stress.

and i def. just told all my buisness to answer your question. i hope its useful

A possible cause could be it could be a blockage of one of the the glands
called a Bartholin Gland Cyst.

"Bartholin gland cysts are often small and painless, and do not require treatment. Some go away without treatment. You need to think about treatment only if a cyst is causing symptoms. Getting treatment is important when an infection has set in. "

Or HPV infection, but that is an STD.

You need to be more specific about where the bump is...but i'm assuming you're only young, and if it goes away, then I very much doubt it is anything significant.

If it is a bump that swells to pea size/larger then you should see your doctor about it.

Chances are it is just a zit (yes, you can get them there!)
