Basically, by just being a "man"! You will know that he will take care of you and step up to the plate like a man should.
If he is a boy that likes to play with toys at mamas house... he will not be husband material until he learns to grow out of it and become "a man".

The way he treats his mother reflects the way he will treat his wife. If the man don't have parents, this man should be secured and stable in terms of job, and finances or family oriented and spritually inclined. And he knows when to put the toilet seat down.
A good husband knows how to provide for the family no matter what it takes. That is, shelter, finances, food and spiritual beliefs to keep the family together.

if u find a guy that makes you happy and can provide a life that will keep you happy - then it is your decision as to whether or not he would be a good husband - some men are natural jerks and others are caring and sensitive. They must be able to provide finacially as well as emotionally, and if you plan on having children it would be a good idea to find out how he interacts with kids, trust is a big issue as well, do u feel u can trust this person?(not just as far as cheating ) but all around - with your life even..

First of all it lies on what your life expectations are and where
you two stand with them.. It is hard to find someone with the same likes and dislikes as you in fact, it's hard to find someone who wants a serious relationship. You need to make sure you two are congruent in all ways including sexually!!!

That he would be willing to do anything to take care of his family. Make any sacrafice for you and any future children. Work 4 jobs to provide for you and so on. If he would do anything to provide for you then all the other flaws can be over looked.
